Generator, the technology improvement leadership tool for FE & Skills, enables you to improve your organisation’s strategic deployment of technology for the benefit of your learners.

This user guide is aimed at Further Education (FE) and Sixth Form Colleges. The guide has been developed by the Association of Colleges (AoC) in consultation with its members. It is aimed at leaders and managers and provides practical examples for the effective use of Generator for a range of activities and at different levels within colleges.

Colleges are using Generator productively in different ways to progress the use of technology for the benefit of learners and  organisational development.  These have been grouped under activity headings and you should be able to find an approach which suits the particular circumstances of your college
